Tsiu River Outfitters offers a large variety and plentiful supply of fish for the heartiest of fisherman, including the world-renowned Silver (Coho) Salmon of the Tsiu River. You'll find the absolute best fishing in the world here. In fact, the only complaints from our customers are sore arms at the end of the day. These fish hit your bait hard and put up a big fight. With an average catch between 20 and 100 fish per day, you can see how one's arms might grow tired from the large haul.
The Silver Salmon are as bright as chrome in the pristine waters of the Tsiu. They weigh in at an average of 10 lbs., but some reach over 20 lbs. Don't miss out on the world's best place to catch these Silver beauties!
Fishing for Silvers starts August 1st and runs through the middle of October. If you also enjoy duck and goose hunting, the Silver's peak run is at the same time as the flight south for waterfowl, when hunting is at its best.
In addition to fishing for Silvers, we also offer Sockeye, Pink Salmon, Steelhead, Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat, and Dolly Varden (Dollies) fishing. Steelhead fishing starts in the middle of April through June. These fish are 26-28 inches long, weighing an average of 6 lbs. Rainbow Trout fishing starts June 1st and runs through the end of July. These beautiful Rainbows have an average length of 20 inches and weigh between 2 and 4 lbs. With Tsiu River Outfitters, it's not uncommon to catch 20 Rainbow Trout a day. Cutthroat and Dollies can be caught through most of the fishing season.
